Japan CUp

Japan CUpPeople like to drive in Asia at the end of the season. It can do no more harm. For the shape. I mean. And there's plenty of coal again. You're welcome to take them with you. On winter vacation. In the sunny south.

Not only Japan is the destination. There is also warm rain in Malaysia Before Corona, it was also in China. But that's on hold for a while now.

The course is not demanding. At the Japan Cup. One might think. A nice fair race over 144 km. With numerous rounds. You can win something in every round. Especially a few yen.

Numerous European teams still gyrate in this carousel. Cofidis and Simon Geschke are also there, after all 5 World Tour teams have gathered. Three of them were probably still in the relegation battle long before the report and really needed the UCI points. But not anymore. Because Lotto Soudal is out of the race and the other two will definitely be in the World Tour next year. I'm talking about EF Education and Cofidis.

Then Simon Geschke can ride his bike with calm nerves. The coal for the next few years is secure. And without stretch you can perform again. After all, a 13th place jumped out at the end of the day. The long list of Did Not Finishers shows that you drove here for the entry fee. Well over half of the Peoples took a shower early. Around 41 drivers saw the last crossing of the finish line.

Simon Geschke crossed the finish line alone. More than three minutes behind the winner, EF Education's Nelson Powless. That probably corresponds to his capabilities.

Nelson Powless single-handedly achieved his victory. After he had caught up with his teammate Andrea Piccolo and left him behind. The latter, however, was able to console himself with second place.
