Cyclo Cross Hulst. King is back

The cyclo cross in Huls was probably the first of the season for Mathieu Van der Poel. For the Belgians he was the second gossip on that first Advent. First the Dutchman Van der Poel wins the Cyclo Cross in Hulst and then the Red Devils lose against Morocco. The first event did not cause any riots in and around Brussels. Because no Dutchman got into a fight with a Belgian because of this victory.

That's why I love cycling. Football is more for people with a lack of self-confidence. I always wonder how you can have a bad day just because some mercenary squad is playing lousy football.

Personally, we have long since overcome these times. You really have to work on yourself. As a former youthful MSV Duisburg fan, really. (:. Non, je ne regrette rien. Didn't Piaf say that every time after she had once again cast off one of her many lovers?

So let's get back to cyclo cross. Well, it was Van der Poel's first race. And he showed the Belgian elite in this oh so Belgian winter sport where Bartel gets the must. The Brit Tom Pidcock had had some teething troubles a few days earlier. But the Flying Dutchman was not impressed in Hulst and relegated the Belgian armada straight to the places. Laurens Sweeck and the recovered Eli Iserbyt had to settle for second and third place.

That could be interesting
